Why Drama?

As individuals (and a unique one for that matter), we all have end numbers of thoughts to speak out and feelings to share. But not all of us are good in expressing ourselves. Most of us are hesitant to stand up in front of two people, let alone a group.

Drama helps us in shedding down our inability to stand up and voice our views in public. It makes us more confident and gives us the joy of being heard and understood because until and unless we express, and express well, we cannot expect to be understood. Therefore, Drama is a perfect means of shattering barriers and coming forth confidently.

Learning to perform Drama works slowly on our consciousness, making us aware of our feelings, more than ever. It is when we realize the depth of our feelings that we can express ourselves without fear and hesitation.

While learning drama we come across the Legends who have created fantastic masterpieces. The works of many dramatists like George Bernard Shaw and Anton Chekhov have influenced life and living in many good ways than one. They have been successful in portraying the problems of society and the world in whole. Understanding of such works change our life and how we view it, for good!!
